Bernhard held nothing back. SPRING AFFAIR was two-thirds comedy show and one-third concert, the balance she has perfected to sate fans ever since her 1988 Off-Broadway show “Without You, I’m Nothing.”

Sandra Bernhard is ready for what she’s calling her “Spring Affair” – a tour that will see her bring her patented blend of rock ’n’ roll, stand-up comedy, and spot-on social commentary to live audiences across the country – with stops including City Winery Boston on June 2 and Provincetown Town Hall on July 28.

Lloyd & Ricky are set to bring the world premiere of their concert to Ovations on Friday, April 15th and Saturday, April 16th. Lloyd & Ricky's 'World Premiere' concert at OVATIONS of HOUSTON showcases the country's newest dynamic singing duo, whose voices together achieve a fresh, alternately subtle, soulful, and explosive interpretation of classic rock, anthemic pop, Broadway, and original songs. This exciting new show is arranged and conducted by Musical Director Mitch Kaplan and brilliantly supported by the Keith Vivens Trio.

Back to the Backlot, a live musical comedy variety show, will bring back many of West Hollywood's famed Backlot Theatre's original showcase stars to commemorate the end of an era of one of the country's most famous venues for live entertainment. The event will mark the beginning of the preservation project known as Robertson Lane, which will re-build the venue formally known as The Factory and the famous Studio One Nightclub. The historic building opened in 1929 as the home of Mitchell Cameras, an early and important movie camera maker for the large movie studios. It was then the Studio One nightclub/Backlot Theatre from the late 1970s through the 1990s.

UCLA's Center for the Art of Performance (CAP UCLA) presents Los Angeles' legendary UnCabaret, celebrating 25 years of groundbreaking comedy in a one-time-only evening of wildly fun, idiosyncratic live performance, music and never-before-seen footage. Special guests include alumni Julia Sweeney, Janeane Garofalo, Bob Odenkirk, Maria Bamford, Greg Behrendt, Andy Kindler, Scott Thompson, Allee Willis, Laura Kightlinger, Alex Edelman, Rebecca Corry, Jill Soloway and many more to be announced, hosted by creatrix Beth Lapides with musical director Mitch Kaplan on Sunday, Nov. 18 at 7 p.m. at The Theatre at Ace Hotel Downtown Los Angeles. UCLA's Center for the Art of Performance (CAP UCLA) and The Theatre at Ace Hotel Downtown Los Angeles will once again team up to present 14 bold programs by leading innovators and acknowledged masters in contemporary dance, music, theater and literature, featuring pioneering champions for social justice and diverse world views. Offering more than 40 unique events and 60 performances, CAP UCLA's new season runs from September 22, 2018, to May 10, 2019, and will open and close with programs at Ace.
