Vanessa Wagner taps into her love of contemporary minimalist music in her Classical Session. Wagner’s program begins with Lullaby by Bryce Dessner, guitarist with the band The National and an acclaimed composer. Wagner also performs two pieces by Philip Glass—“Dead Things,” from Glass’ soundtrack to The Hours, and the Etude No. 12.

Lost Ukrainian Theatre Production RADIO 477! Gets New Production At La MaMa ETC
RADIO 477!, a new theatrical production about the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv in 1929 and today – in collaboration with the prominent Ukrainian literary figure Serhiy Zhadan – will debut at La MaMa's Ellen Stewart Theatre (66 E. 4 St. in Manhattan), with performances beginning March 10 through March 19, it has been announced by Mia Yoo, La MaMa's artistic director.

The internationally acclaimed American pianists Ursula Oppens and Jerome Lowenthal will perform in an Music Academy concert on Thursday evening, March 9, 2023, at 7 PM, PST, at Music Academy of the West's Hahn Hall (1070 Fairway Road Santa Barbara, CA 93108). This concert, entitled 'Lowenthal's Legend,' honors and celebrates the extraordinary pianist and preeminent pedagogue Jerome Lowenthal, who has served as a Music Academy teaching artist for half a century.
