BIO

Matthew Johnson Harris is a performer, director, and choreographer in New York City. He most recently provided choreography for Tituss Burgess' "Take Me To The World - A Tribute to Stephen Sondheim" at Carnegie Hall. He is also the creator and director of the Mosaic Concert Series at Middle Collegiate Church. The concert series raises funds and awareness for different non-profits or organizations that represent the marginalized. Past performers have included cast members from the Broadway's Kinky Boots, Frozen, Wicked, The Color Purple, Beautiful, Carousel, Dear Evan Hansen, Hamilton, and many more. He currently serves as a core instructor at The Alvin Ailey Extension where he teaches Theatre Dance and Hip Hop.

Every detail of design and it's execution is the epitome of Broadway bold and gold. The Alliance's fly space seems to have reached a new level and the lights pour like honey onto every soloist descending the into floor. From the heavenly choir lofts to the devilish boiler room, each characters' personalities flow effortlessly through the complicated beauty and ugly that it is to be human. There's a lot to take in and worth teasing out into another intermission and third act with Sunday dinner.

Aisha Jackson and Alyssa Fox of Broadway's Frozen continue their campaign for Gun Reform after a successful concert November 4th at Middle Collegiate Church. The Broadway stars treated a packed house of concertgoers with roof raising vocal selections. The night was featured speeches from activists, Broadway performers, and representatives from Mom's Deman Action. Donations are still being accepted until Monday November 11, 2019.
