BWW Review: The Long Island Premiere of THE BODYGUARD at The Gateway


The dazzling 70th season at The Gateway continues with the Long Island premiere of The Bodyguard. Excellently directed by Keith Andrews, the production runs at the charming Bellport venue through July 20th. Indeed, this show is one not to miss.

Phoenix Theatre Ensemble announces that Joe Orton's dark comedy Entertaining Mr. Sloane will begin performances May 4th and will run for 13 performances only through May 14 at The Wild Project  in NYC.   

John Wesley Shipp in TWELVE ANGRY MEN Opens Tonight at Judson Theatre Company


 Tonight is Opening Night for Twelve Angry Men at Judson Theatre Company (Morgan Sills, Executive Producer and Daniel Haley, Artistic Director). Two-time Emmy winning Broadway and Television star John Wesley Shipp,currently on the CW's The Flash, plays the iconic role of Juror #8. Twelve Angry Men opens tonight at 7:00 pm and runs through Sunday, September 25 at Owens Auditorium on the campus of Sandhills Community College, located at 3395 Airport Road in Pinehurst.

Dark Comedy STORYWORKS: TERRA INCOGNITA Premieres at George Street Playhouse

Dixon Place's commission tiger tiger (on the nature of violence) written and directed by playwright Jessica Almasy, will have its world premiere today, November 6th at 7:30 PM.  The music is composed by Dan Veksler in collaboration with Ms. Almasy. tiger tiger (on the nature of violence) will play six performances only - November 6th, 7th, 13th, 14th, 20th, and 21st at 7:30PM, at Dixon Place (161A Chrystie Street).
