BIO
Martin Hodgson was born in Darlington. , County Durham and has been a sound engineer and designer for many years. He was Head of Sound at Northern Stage, Newcastle where his design credits included 1984, Animal Farm, Romeo and Juliet, Grimm’s Tales, More Grimm’s Tales The Princess and the Goblin and A Clockwork Orange. Sound designs for Live Theatre, Newcastle include Smack Family Robinson, Toast, A Nightingale Sang, The Lovers, Keepers of the Flame (co-production with RSC),Geoffs Dead, Disco for Sale, Up There in Lights, Me and Cilla,, Top Girls, Motherland, Blackbird, Jump!, The Pitmen Painters (National Theatre transfers, Volkstheater, Vienna and MTC Broadway),Tyne and Capt Amazing (Edinburgh Festival 2013) and many other projects. For Bill Kenwright Productions he designed The Governess and Chin Chin for national tours and The Pitmen Painters and Three Days In May, for national tours and West End runs. For JASS Productions he designed The Perfect Murder and Dead Simple for national tours.

Full casting has been announced for the world premiere production of the spine-chilling stage play The House on Cold Hill, adapted from the best-selling 2015 novel of multi-million selling author Peter James. Touring to Worthing's Connaught Theatre from Monday 3 to Saturday 8 June; an extra matinee has just been added due to overwhelming demand.

Not Dead Enough is the third novel by best-selling crime writer Peter James to be adapted by Shaun McKenna and directed by Ian Talbot. Brighton socialite Katie Bishop is found raped and murdered in gruesome circumstances. The evidence points to her husband Brian, who claims to have been asleep in his flat in London at the time. Detective Superintendent Roy Grace is called in to investigate but the evidence is not quite what it seems and the body count starts to rise.
