On Saturday, March 16, Cardboard Explosion! will return to Flushing Town Hall’s stage with a one-of-a-kind puppetry experience using nothing but cardboard and the power of imagination.

On Sunday, November 19th, from 12 PM to 4 PM, Flushing Town Hall celebrates its 9th annual Diwali, the Festival of Light, with food, dance, music, and art for audiences of all ages. 

On Sunday, August 13, Flushing Town Hall will present the award-winning Paper Play by Puppet Beings Theatre. Families are invited to join a 1 PM workshop prior to the 2:15 PM family show.

On Wednesday, July 12 at 7:00 PM, Flushing Town Hall will host its Third Annual Jazz Jam All-Stars Concert, honoring the musicians and audiences who regularly attend its in-person and virtual Jazz Jams. For the first time since the pandemic, the All-Stars concert will be held in Flushing Town Hall's theater.

HAMILTON will make its New Zealand debut for a strictly limited season at Spark Arena in Tamaki Makaurau - Auckland in May 2023.

On Saturday, December 3, Flushing Town Hall will partner with NativeTec, Ma's House & BIPOC Art Studio Inc., and Niamuck Land Trust to host its annual Native American Social. The event will feature artwork, dancing, drumming, singing, and story sharing to build community. Refreshments will be served.

On Saturday, November 5, Flushing Town Hall will host its eighth annual Diwali Festival—a celebration welcoming audiences of all ages and cultures and a very popular event each year at the Hall. 

On Saturday, July 16th at 7:30 PM, Flushing Town Hall will host its 2nd Annual Jazz Jam All-Stars Concert. This celebratory event honors the musicians and audiences who regularly attended Flushing Town Hall's in-person and virtual Jazz Jams, as well as its dedicated house band led by Carol Sudhalter, featuring Joe Vincent Tranchina, Scott Neumann, and Eric Lemon.

On Saturday, December 11, the award-winning Tanglewood Marionettes return to Flushing Town Hall with an underwater fantasy based on Chinese folklore. The Dragon King, featuring colorful sea creatures, an exciting adventure, and gorgeous hand-crafted marionettes, will inspire a love for puppetry in children and adults alike.

This November 6, Flushing Town Hall will celebrate Diwali, the Festival of Lights, with a socially distanced festival of music, dance, traditional foods, and family-friendly activities. And this year, for the first time, the cultural venue is holding a Rangoli Design competition - with the winners' artwork being prominently displayed for all to see!

This October, Flushing Town Hall's wildly popular Louis Armstrong Legacy Monthly Jazz Jam is turning ten! To celebrate the occasion, Flushing Town Hall's current house jazz band will be joined by members of Queens Jazz OverGround.

Flushing Town Hall has announced that its popular Louis Armstrong Legacy Monthly Jazz Jam will once again be held in person at the historic building in Queens starting Wednesday, September 8 at 7:00 PM (ET) as the venue continues its reopening to artists and the public.

Prospect New Orleans has announced that its Hancock Whitney Welcome Center for P.5 will be sited at the New Orleans African American Museum. The P.5 Hancock Whitney Welcome Center is part of a broad partnership between Prospect and NOAAM during the Prospect.5 cycle.

Every month, jazz musicians have come together for the Jazz Jam to play tunes reflecting each month's theme. Since going online, the Jazz Jams have reached more than 7,000 viewers, and exceeded 1,700 engagements online—numbers that surpassed the participation and capacity of the venue during previous in-person sessions. The Jazz Jam has truly become a haven for jazz lovers from around the world!

Flushing Town Hall’s outdoor community art exhibition - Call and Response: Grief, Resiliency and Hope –returns this February for the Lunar New Year to give people an opportunity to express their feelings about this moment in our nation’s history, as well as their hopes in the new year.

Winter 2021 offerings include an arts education series for children in five languages, monthly Jazz Jams, an outdoor community art exhibition, programs celebrating the Lunar Year, a three-part Black History Month series featuring Broadway performers, and professional development workshops and Zoom hangs for artists.
