Donald Madden was a stage actor primarily noted for his Shakespearean roles. He was nominated for a Tony Award in 1967, for his dual role in the one act play by Peter Shafer, "Black Comedy, White Lies". He won a Theater World Award for playing Mark Antony in Julius Caesar at the New York Shakespeare Festival in 1960. He also won the New Jersey Theater Critics Award for his performance in Night Of The Tribades. He died of lung cancer on Jan. 22, 1983, Long Island, NY.
