DSI Comedy Theater jumps into Spring with an appearance by Krish Mohan. This Washington D.C. based comic brings his Attempting to Approach Happiness tour to the Triangle. Mohan takes the stage Thursday, March 23 at 8:30 p.m. Tickets cost $10. He performs at DSI Comedy Theater, 462 West Franklin Street. Dancer Rocio Molina and vocalist Rosario La Tremendita transformed flamenco as feminist and modern in Afectos (Feelings), their U.S. Premiere on March 21st. Accompanied by double bassist Pablo Martin, Molina and Tremendita captivated at Baryshnikov Arts Center (BAC). With sensuous simplicity, they claimed their place in a tradition predominantly guided by the male voice in an eclectic program.
Railroad Playhouse Announces 2012-2013 Season

The Railroad Playhouse (RRP) is delighted to announce its 2012-2013 season, commencing on October 19, 2012 with the world premiere of playwright-in-residence Alex Goldberg's AMERICA'S BRIGHTEST STAR. Starting in December, there will be four staged readings introducing four new plays. In May 2013, the 2nd Annual One Act Play Festival will feature short plays from the current and new playwrights-in-residence. RRP friend Mission: Improv-able returns as the resident Improv troupe. Educational programs will continue with the after school workshops, Expanded In-School Playmaking Residency, and Glee Summer Camp.
