Berkshire Theatre Group has announced the 2023 winter and spring season at The Colonial Theatre in Pittsfield. There is something for everyone in this lineup of national performing acts, local and regional bands and family programming as part of the 10x10 Upstart Arts Festival featuring middle and high school students from Berkshire County.

The Young Dubliners, known for their upbeat and energetic delivery and a sound that is most commonly called a?oeCeltic Rock,a?? will perform live at Bucks County Playhouse on Saturday, September 14 at 8:00 pm. The Young Dubliners' appearance is part of the Playhouse's Visiting Artist Series.

The performances mark the conclusion of ABT's 20th annual New York Summer Intensive, a five-week training program for dancers ages 12 to 22.

Segerstrom Center for the Arts has announced the faculty for its American Ballet Theatre William J. Gillespie School that begins its full 36-week school year on September 14, 2015 and runs through June 11, 2016. The Center has added classes to accommodate the growing enrollment.

American Ballet Theatre has named Keith Roberts, former Principal Dancer with ABT, to the post of Ballet Master. The appointment, which was announced yesterday by Artistic Director Kevin McKenzie, becomes effective September 2013.

COME FLY AWAY will conclude its Broadway run on Sunday, September 5 at the Marquis Theatre (1535 Broadway at 46th Street) after 26 previews and 187 regular performances. Conceived, choreographed, and directed by Tony Award-winner Twyla Tharp and featuring vocals by Frank Sinatra, COME FLY AWAY will launch a national tour in May, 2011 in Chicago. More details on this extensive, multi-city national tour will be announced at a later date.

The critically acclaimed new Broadway musical COME FLY AWAY was be featured on the FOX television program 'So You Think You Can Dance' yesterday, June 17th. Tony Award nominees Karine Plantadit and Keith Roberts (nominated for Movin' Out) performed the show stopping number 'That's Life' during the program's first live results show of the season, which aired nationally at 9pm (8pm central).
