BrightSide Theatre to Present SHE LOVES ME in October


BrightSide Theatre Artistic Director Jeffrey Cass and Executive Director Julie Ann Kornak have announced that they will begin their 10th season with She Loves Me, running from October 14 through 30th. 

York's ROTHSCHILD & SONS to Receive Cast Recording


The Off-Broadway cast recording of the new Bock and Harnick musical, Rothschild & Sons, an intimate reimagining of the Tony nominated musical The Rothschilds, will be recorded and released by JAY Records.  Produced by John Yap, the recording will feature the original cast of The York Theatre Company production who will gather at The Avatar Studios on Monday, October 26, 2015 to lay down the tracks for the recording scheduled for release on JAY Records in early January.  Executive Producers are John Yap and Arnold Mittelman.

Glory Crampton to Join Robert Cuccioli in ROTHSCHILD & SONS at York Theatre Company


The York Theatre Company, dedicated to the development of new musicals and preserving musical gems from the past, in association with Arnold Mittelman and The National Jewish Theater Foundation, is pleased to announce that Glory Crampton will join previously announced Tony Award nominee Robert Cuccioli in the world premiere production of Rothschild & Sons, with music by Jerry Bock, lyrics by Sheldon Harnick, book by Sherman Yellen, with direction by Jeffrey B. Moss.  Mr. Cuccioli will star as Mayer Rothschild, with Ms. Crampton in the pivotal role as his wife, Gutele.  Additional casting will be announced shortly.

Actor Bruce Davison certainly needs no introduction. He has starred on stage, screen and television in a multitude of complex roles over the last almost 50 years. He is most remembered for his early film Willard in the 60s and his stunning Oscar-nominated role in Longtime Companion from the early 90s. Davison is currently onstage in Noel Coward's A Song at Twilight at the Pasadena Playhouse, co-starring Sharon Lawrence and Roxanne Hart.
