Laughter erupted through the Moran Theatre at The Times Union Center for the Performing Arts as fans watched their favorite characters performing their favorite lines and jokes based on the movie Monty Python and the Holy Grail. The show follows King Arthur and the Knights of the Round table on their voyage to find the Holy Grail. Accompanied by a great and comedic score, the show was greatly entertaining to all audience members, even those who were not familiar with Monty Python. It was a smash!
BWW Reviews: CAMELOT a Dazzling Masterpiece
by Harmony Wheeler - Jan 14, 2015
The lyrics tell all. "In short there's simply not a more congenial spot than here in Camelot," now lodged at Fresno's Saroyan Theatre through tonight only. BWW Reviews: Broadway Tour of CAMELOT Dusts Off an Old Tale at PPAC
by Robert Barossi - Dec 11, 2014
Some classic stories, tales, myths and legends do more than stand the test of time. They speak to generation after generation, entertaining and teaching new audiences across the ages. There are similar theatrical entertainments, plays and musicals, that stand the test of time, entertaining the masses in the same way for years and decades. Unfortunately, Camelot, the musical version of those Arthurian legends, is not that kind of musical.
BWW Reviews: CAMELOT at Tennessee Performing Arts Center
by Cara Richardson - Nov 7, 2014
Nashville gets a taste of chivalry, sword fighting, and magic with the tour of Lerner & Loewe's Camelot, which plays at Tennessee Performing Arts Center through November 9th. Most people grew up with some version of the story of King Arthur, his wife Queen Guenevere, and Arthur's favorite knight, Lancelot. This makes for a well-known story going into the show, but also sets up the audience for spectacular experience along the way.
