This special 70th anniversary commemoration of The Jackie Gleason Show brings together all of the legend’s favorite characters in hours of rare material spanning the 1950s and 1960s when Gleason was a top ten hit on Saturday nights for millions of viewers.

Constellations: Fate, Love, and the Power of Theatre. The Lambs hosts a discussion of the play 'Constellations' by Nick Payne, the Tony nominated Broadway romantic comedy. A revival of the show will run from April 6 through April 24 at The Gene Frankel Theatre (24 Bond Street, New York NY 10012).

A female-led reboot of The Honeymooners is in the works at CBS. Black-ish writer Lindsey Shockley is currently attached to pen the series, with Damon Wayans Jr. executive producing. The original The Honeymooners series ran from 1955-1956 on CBS. It was created by its star, Jackie Gleason, featuring Audrey Meadows, Art Carney, and Joyce Randolph.

The Honeyzoomers, the first series about the pandemic shot during the pandemic, has reached a creative milestone. Just like the classic TV series The Honeymooners, which inspired The Honeyzoomers, the web series has reached its 39th episode. 

The Lambs, America's first professional theater club and one of the three oldest professional theatrical organizations in the US, honored Stephen Schwartz at a Shepherd's luncheon.

In the early 1930's, The Lambs created 2-reel comedy short films with Columbia Pictures. These shorts were created as a means to raise fund for the Club during the Great Depression. Most of these films have never been seen in almost a century. The films offer a rare historical look at The Lambs, its famous members and activities. The presentation included: Shave it with Music (1932), The Curse of the Broken Heart (1933), Poor Fish (1933) and Hear'em and Weep (1931).

New Dramatists, Tony® Honor recipient and the nation's premier playwright development laboratory, just honored Tony®and Academy Award-winner Denzel Washington at its 69th Annual Spring Luncheon tribute. Washington, currently starring on Broadway in The Iceman Cometh, directed by George C. Wolfe, received New Dramatists' 2018 Distinguished Achievement Award. Tributes to Mr. Washington and performances were presented by three-time Grammy Award-winner Branford Marsalis with bassist Noah Jackson, Tony®Award-winners George C. Wolfe and Stephen McKinley Henderson, Constanza Romero (August Wilson Estate), and Pulitzer Prize finalist and New Dramatists resident playwright Kristoffer Diaz (The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Deity).

The Unique Panel Discussion will celebrate a new book by Ronald Rand, "CREATE! How Extraordinary Artists Live to Create and Create to Live" at the historical theatrical club, The Lambs 3 West 51st Street, New York City, Monday, March 12th, 2018, 7:00-8:00pm. Paper Mill Playhouse, by special arrangement with Jeffrey Finn, presents the world-premiere production of the new musical comedy The Honeymooners, based on the CBS television series, with book by Dusty Kay and Bill Nuss, music by Stephen Weiner, and lyrics by Peter Mills.

?Marking the 100th birthday of playwright Arthur Miller, Joan Copeland reminisced about her brother at The Lambs, America's first professional theatrical club, and was the only event in NYC featuring a relative of Miller.

In recognition of outstanding achievements in stage, television and film, and for his work in protecting performers rights, as a past President of SAG, as the first-elected President of SAG-AFTRA, and as a Trustee of the Actors Fund, and of the SAG Foundation, The Lambs bestowed Honorary Membership to Ken Howard. The event was hosted by The Lambs' Shepherd, Marc Baron, who is also a board member of the union.

Joe Sirola will perform his acclaimed presentation of Shakespeare's 'Ages of Man' - a montage of Shakespearean soliloquy, describing in Shakespeare's words humanity's journey through life - tonight, December 27, 2014 as part of Theatre 80's A Tribute To Joyce Randolph on the occasion of her signing the concrete of the Walk of Fame. The event will also feature Tandy Cronyn performing Tall Boy, a compelling tale of displaced children in the aftermath of WWII.
