Shakespeare & Company presents William Shakespeare's Macbeth, directed by Obie Award-winning director Melia Bensussen. Company veterans Jonathan Croy and Tod Randolph take the helm as Macbeth and Lady Macbeth, two of Shakespeare's most notorious anti-heroes. Shakespeare's stunning classic of blind ambition and corrosive power runs from July 3 - August 5 in the Tina Packer Playhouse.

Shakespeare & Company announces its 2018 season casting. Under the direction of Artistic Director Allyn Burrows the Company's Summer Season includes a roster of audience beloved artists, critically acclaimed actors, and a host of newcomers joining the Company. The season opens Memorial Day Weekend with Carey Crim's New England Premiere of Morning After Grace, a comedic romance about second chances.

Shakespeare & Company's Northeast Regional Tour of Shakespeare is now on the road. This year, the Company's Tour brings two Shakespeare productions, Othello, the Moor of Venice and A Midsummer Night's Dream, to over 20,000 students. The Tour visits 75 schools throughout the Northeast in nine different states including; Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Maryland.

Shakespeare & Company held a special benefit performance of God of Carnage last Thursday to give back to those impacted by the recent hurricanes. The Berkshire community came out in support, and together raised over $4,775 for victims of the recent devastation.

Opening night at Shakespeare & Company's production of God Of Carnage displayed the exceptional versatility and riveting acting of four of Shakespeare & Company's players, Elizabeth Aspenlieder, Allyn Burrows, Jonathan Croy, and Kristin Wold. The play is presented in Shakespeare's Elayne P. Bernstein Theatre which is the perfect intimate setting to put the audience in the middle of the carnage.

Shakespeare & Company presents God of Carnage written by Yasmina Reza and translated by Christopher Hampton, directed by Regge Life. The play won a Tony Award for Best Play and an Olivier Award for Best Comedy, now this award-winning New York hit comes to the Berkshires. Written by the author of ART, God of Carnage runs from September 14 - October 8th in the Elayne P. Bernstein.
