On Wednesday, September 12 at 10pm ET/PT, CNBC presents 'Crisis on Wall Street: The Week that Shook the World,' the definitive televised account of the most tumultuous days of the historic financial crisis of 2008. Reported by Andrew Ross Sorkin, CNBC anchor and author of the groundbreaking best-seller 'Too Big to Fail,' this primetime documentary chronicles the fall of Lehman Brothers and details how the nation and the world came as close as ever to a full economic collapse.

Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts (LCPA) raised a record $10.4 million last night at its Spring Gala honoring Hearst Corporation, as announced by Katherine Farley, chair of Lincoln Center. The event, attended by more than 500 people, lauded Hearst President and CEO Steven R. Swartz, and Executive Vice-chairman and former CEO, Frank A. Bennack, Jr. for the enormous and varied contributions to Lincoln Center made by them as well as by their company. Both men serve on Lincoln Center's Board of Directors; Mr. Bennack was chairman of Lincoln Center from 2005 through 2010, and Mr. Swartz is currently chairman of Lincoln Center's Corporate Fund.

The star-studded cast of HBO's new film, 'Too Big To Fail,' welcomes two new additions, Bill Pullman (Oleanna, 'Independence Day,' 'Sleepless in Seattle') and Matthew Modine (The Miracle Worker, 'Married to the Mob,' 'And the Band Played On'), according to deadline.com. 'Too Big To Fail,' set to begin production in October, will date back two years, highlighting the 2008 financial crisis and the various power brokers -- Merrill Lynch, JP Morgan Chase, Lehman Bros., among others -- who drove the United States near financial destruction. Based on Andrew Ross Sorkin's book, also of the same name, the film will be directed by Curtis Hanson and will be led by Academy Award winner William Hurt as Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson.
