Sam Tinnesz, a rising alternative pop artist and songwriter, has signed a worldwide publishing deal with Position Music. Officially announced by Tyler Bacon, President and CEO of Position Music, the agreement brings Tinnesz’s future artist releases, songwriting cuts, and selected catalog into Position Music’s repertoire.

We kick things off with one of Broadway's biggest flops, the musical In My Life, which was written and directed by Academy Award winning composer of 'You Light Up My Life', Joe Brooks. The coolest thing about this musical is that Jonathan Groff was dance captain, swing and standby for the two lead roles.

First performed in London in 1989 at the Piccadilly Theatre (with stars including the inimitable Brian Blessed), the musical version of Metropolis (by Joe Brooks and Dusty Hughes) has been revived for a short Off West End run at Ye Olde Rose and Crown in Walthamstow.

Friday on Thirteen, THEATER TALK features a lively and thought-provoking segment on the marketing strategy for Broadway's IN MY LIFE, Joe Brooks' curious and controversial musical.

The colorful Gypsy Robe, embellished with mementos from Broadway musicals, is presented to the cast member who has the most Broadway chorus credits. For In My Life, the Robe was presented to Brynn Williams.

In My Life, with songs by Joe Brooks officially opened on October 20th and BroadwayWorld was there to capture the opening night festivities.

The League of American Theatres and Producers, Inc. today announced the new fall season, highlighted by big names, up-and-coming talent, classic shows, and new works.

In My Life, one of this seasons newest musicals will delay its first preview by three days. The tuner with songs by Joe Brooks will begin performances on September 30th and officially open on October 20th.
