Laguna Playhouse announced, in association with Gare St. Lazare, Ireland and the Rubicon Theatre Company, Faline England, Sorcha Fox, Conor Lovett and Joe Spano starring in the rolling Southern California premiere of THE REALISTIC JONESES, written by Will Eno and directed by Judy Hegarty-Lovett.

Rubicon Theatre Company will present the Southern California premiere of THE REALISTIC JONESES, Wednesday, January 25 at 7:00 pm, with a press opening on Saturday, January 28 at 7:00 pm, running through Sunday, February 12.

Stars of stage and screen Catherine Byrne and Mark Lambert will appear in a revival of one of Bernard Farrell's most famous dark comedies, Happy Birthday Dear Alice, which was commissioned by Waterford's Red Kettle Theatre Company in 1995.

Apple TV+ today released the official trailer for 'Doug Unplugs,' a new animated preschool series from DreamWorks Animation, based on Dan Yaccarino's popular 'Doug Unplugged' book series. The series will premiere globally with the first seven episodes on Friday, November 13 on Apple TV+.

During the middle ages, owls were often symbols of ominous forces and dark magic, while todaythey are typically associated with wisdom. Although these two concepts may seem contradictory, they both relate to the artistic process, which requires a combination of cognitive and intuitive skills. Creativity may be defined as the act of conjuring imaginative ideas into reality in order to reveal underlying truths and patterns related to the human condition.

Principal photography commenced today in Georgia on James Franco's “In Dubious Battle” as a quintet of actors have signed on to join Franco, Selena Gomez, Vincent D'Onofrio, Robert Duvall, Ed Harris, Bryan Cranston, Nat Wolff, John Savage and Sam Shepherd in the much anticipated production from Andrea Iervolino and Lady Monika Bacardi's AMBI Pictures, Rabbit Bandini Productions and That's Hollywood Pictures Production.

James Franco, Selena Gomez, Vincent D'Onofrio, Robert Duvall, Ed Harris, Bryan Cranston and Danny McBride will star together in the feature film 'In Dubious Battle,' which will be directed by Franco.

Jim Norton (currently in 'Of Mice and Men'), and Gillian Hanna and Conor MacNeill (both currently in the 'The Cripple of Inishmaan') are taking part in a reading of Irish playwright Jim Nolan's 'Brighton' on Monday May 12 at 7pm. A popular voice in Ireland, Nolan will be in New York for the event, which is presented by Origin Theatre Company as part of its 10th annual Mondays of May play reading series.
