Virginia Repertory Theatre revealed the new titles for the 2014/15 Season with a public announcement at the November Theatre last evening. The announcement marks Bruce Miller and Phil Whiteway's 40th season as Artistic Director and Managing Director. Miller reflects on this milestone, "I'm proud to be announcing my 40th season as Artistic Director. The 18 shows that comprise Virginia Rep's 2014/15 roster include several of my favorite comedies, dramas and musicals. Richmond Shakespeare has announced the next show in its 2012-13 season, The Tempest by William Shakespeare. The show will run March 9 through March 30, with previews on March 7 and 8. Thursday - Saturday performances are at 7:30 p.m. Sunday matinees are at 3:00 p.m. All performances will be in the McVey Theatre at St. Catherine's School at 6001 Grove Avenue, Richmond, VA 23226.

Performances are 7:30pm Today-Saturday and 3pm on Sunday. Inspired by the Charlotte Moore version at the Irish Repertory Theatre in New York City, director Jan Powell and music director Andrew Hamm have teamed up to create a theatrical event to charm audiences of all ages.

Agecroft Hall will once again host the Richmond Shakespeare Festival, a local favorite for fifteen years. Tickets are now on sale at www.tix.com. The Festival opened with Cymbeline (believed to be a Richmond premiere), running June 7th through 30th.
Richmond Shakespeare has announced Jan Powell, PhD, as Interim Artistic Director through summer 2012. Powell's official start date is March 15.
