BIO
Serendipity brought James to acting after a long career as a criminal investigator, prosecutor, and trial lawyer. He has taught English in a Ugandan orphanage, searched for and found his extended family in the mountains of Ukraine, and served as a pastoral care worker in a Philadelphia hospital. James has appeared Off Broadway as Leon Jaworski with Rich Little in "Trial on the Potomac", Robert in "Chasing Jack", Rogers in "And Then There Were None ", and Detective Cloud in "Somewhere I Can Scream." He is a graduate of New York's William Esper Studio.

Agatha Christie’s murder mystery novel, And Then There Were None, published in 1939 and adapted for the stage by Ms. Christie in 1943 is being staged at the Players Theatre in The West Village. The production is part of Be Bold! Productions’ Murder on MacDougal series which produced Murder on the Links in 2021 and Murder on the Nile in 2019.
