There's no time more appropriate for a PEACE AND LOVE concert than now, and on April 6, 2018, TJP (formerly known as The Jost Project) is proud to perform in the Great Stair Hall of the Philadelphia Museum of Art as part of their Friday Nights series. TJP will perform two sets of music at 5:45 and 7:15 p.m. As the perfect complement to the Museum's exhibit -- Design in Revolution: A 1960s Odyssey - TJP's music and the exhibit have a similar focus on the 1960s, a time of tumultuous political and social change, when messages of "peace and love" were everywhere. NCTC Presents Regional Premiere of Philip Dawkins' LE SWITCH
by Rebecca Russo - Aug 30, 2017
In October, New Conservatory Theatre Center welcomes the return of the plays of Philip Dawkins with the regional premiere of Le Switch, directed by Tom Bruett. Following the success of NCTC's production of Dawkin's play The Homosexuals in its 2013-14 Season, NCTC brings the play that has been hailed by Chicago Tribune as "another significant play from one of the Chicago's theater's brightest talents." Le Switch follows David, a self-possessed New York librarian with a need for classification, a love for collecting rare books he never opens and a strong ambivalence about marriage. What happens when his best friend's bachelor party takes him to Montreal, and he is swept off his feet by a charming young florist? A witty and whimsical romantic comedy tied in knots.

BWW Review: MY COUNTRY; A WORK IN PROGRESS, National Theatre
by Marianka Swain - Mar 12, 2017
How quickly should art react? The National's Great Britain opened right on the heels of the 2014 phone-hacking trial, and here again the theatre is speedy with this response to the EU referendum. But, as with Brexit itself, the piece feels rather in limbo: caught in the midst of unfolding events, rather than able to fully and insightfully reflect on them.
