Millbrook Playhouse And The Millbrook Playhouse Youth Ensemble Present THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER: THE MUSICAL

The Board of Directors, Artistic Director David Leidholdt, General Manager David Gritzner, along with show sponsors Brigandi, Gleghorn, and Haffley, and Keystone Clearwater Solutions LLC, have announced the upcoming production of The Best Christmas Pageant Ever: The Musical with book and lyrics by Jahnna Beecham, music and lyrics Malcolm Hillgartner.

THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER Opens At Lakewood Theatre Company December 13

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, a delightful family story about the true meaning of Christmas, will open at the Lakewood Theatre Company on Friday, December 13 at 7:30 PM. Performances continue on December 14, 15,  and 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, and 22 at 7:30 PM. There will also be matinee performances at 2:00 PM on Sunday Dec. 15, Saturday Dec. 21 and Sunday Dec. 22. After the opening night performance on Dec. 13, there will be a hot cocoa and cookie reception.

A fun, new musical adaptation of an audience favorite comes to First Stage this holiday season. Created by the talented husband/wife team of Jahnna Beecham (Playwright/Lyricist) and Malcolm Hillgartner (Composer/Lyricist) and based on the play by Barbara Robinson, THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER: THE MUSICAL is filled with catchy,'60s-inspired original music and a delightful story that both young and old will enjoy. The horrible Herdmans are the worst kids in the history of the world. The entire town panics when these rowdy six siblings are cast in the church's annual Christmas pageant. It's up to good-hearted Mrs. Bradley to help the Herdmans - and the rest of the town - discover the true meaning of Christmas before it's too late. Silent night?
