Middle Kids (Tim Fitz, Hannah Joy, and Harry Day) are about to enter a new chapter in their career with the release of their latest single, 'Bootleg Firecracker.' In 2022, the band made an impulsive decision to travel to Eastbourne, UK in order to spend an intense six weeks with renowned producer Jonathan Gilmore (The 1975).

As Hannah explains: “This is a simple song about people being tiny and our lives being fleeting but also that we are epic and great. It’s finding the beauty and majesty of the everyday. LIFE IS GORY AND BORING SOMETIMES: it’s both hectic and mundane and we have to accept both.”

Middle Kids today announced their audaciously titled second album, Today We’re The Greatest, a vivid collection of 12 songs that are at times deeply personal and courageous, while simultaneously raucous and rattling.

Today, Australian trio Middle Kids (Hannah Joy, Harry Day and Tim Fitz) have shared a new track, titled “Beliefs and Prayers”, from their upcoming six-track EP New Songs For Old Problems. The EP will be out May 24th, 2019 through Domino. Middle Kids previously celebrated the announcement of New Songs For Old Problems by sharing the first single and video for “Real Thing”.
