BWW Review: THE IMMIGRANT at GSP Touches Your Heart and Soul
As a home to great theatre, George Street Playhouse has done it again. 'The Immigrant,' a production that is relevant, inspirational, and entertaining, is now on the New Brunswick stage. Written by Mark Harelik, conceived by Mark Harelik and Randal Myler, the show enjoys wonderful direction by the Playhouse's Director of Education, Jim Jack, and stars an excellent four-person cast.

The Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau (LRCVB) is pleased to announce that the Robinson Center's renovation, restoration and expansion has exceeded original expectations to be LEED-certified, and has achieved a LEED Gold rating. A press conference announcing this achievement was held yesterday afternoon.

Kansas City Actors Theatre Announces Cast and Creative Staff for Shepard's A LIE OF THE MIND
Kansas City Actors Theatre has completed casting for its production of Sam Shepard's "A Lie of the Mind," the second show of its thirteenth season, which will run from September 13th to October 1st at the H&R Block City Stage in Union Station. The production will be directed by Cinnamon Schultz and will star Forrest Attaway, Hillary Clemens, Merle Moores, Gary Neal Johnson, Brian Paulette, Jan Rogge, Christina Schafer and Jake Walker. The production team includes Bret Engle (scenic designer), Bill Christie (properties designer), Gretchen Halle (costumer designer), Ashley Kok (lighting designer), Jonathan Robertson (sound designer), and Kyle Dyck (technical director). The production will also feature the original music of local band The Country Duo (Kasey Rausch & Marco Pascolini).

Since the recent discovery of the remains of the real Richard III, both the real life monarch and Shakespeare's monstrous version of him have been much talked about - his arch-villain of all villains - the intense, discontented, crippled, larger than life "protagonist," Richard, Duke of Gloucester dominates this seething history from start to finish. Paul Mullins who played the title role ten years ago, directs. Running in conjunction with the First Folio exhibit in October.

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey Presents Shakespeare's Most Notorious King
A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity will be available through the month of October when The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, in partnership with Drew University, presents a "double-bill" experience for students and adults. From October 6th - 30th, a single copy of the original First Folio, one of the world's most valuable, rare and influential books will be on public display at Drew University's Mead Hall. The renowned Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington D.C. launched an historic tour of the book in early 2016 to commemorate the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's death.

Dorset Theatre Festival to Present Agatha Christie's THE MOUSETRAP, 8/14-30
Dorset Theatre Festival will present The Mousetrap, Dame Agatha Christie's masterpiece of mayhem and mystery, from August 14th through the 30th at the Dorset Playhouse. The Mousetrap, in addition to being one of Christie's most famous works, has the distinction of being the world's longest continually running play. The original production, at London's Ambassador Hotel, has been running continuously since 1952!
