Gabriel Burrafato is a dynamic, two-time BroadwayWorld Award–winning actor whose commanding screen presence and powerful vocals have captivated audiences on stage and screen. Television audiences may recognize him as Alejandro on Paramount+’s Danger Force. His additional TV credits include Senator Lowell on CBS’s Boston Blue, Reverend Edward Pike in the season premiere of NCIS, Mike Pomerantz on Netflix’s The Lincoln Lawyer opposite Neve Campbell, Nick on Young Sheldon, and Joseph opposite Zoe Saldaña in Netflix’s acclaimed limited series From Scratch.
A versatile “trilingual triple threat,” Gabriel is fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian, with conversational French. His career spans Broadway, national tours, Las Vegas, film, and television. He made his Broadway debut in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Bombay Dreams and went on to star in major national tours, including Camelot as Lancelot and the Harold Prince revival of Evita as Magaldi. He originated the role of Legolas in the $30-million world-premiere stage production of The Lord of the Rings, directed by Tony Award winner Matthew Warchus. In Las Vegas, he portrayed Dean Martin in Vegas! The Show at Planet Hollywood.
Gabriel’s artistic foundation includes classical voice training at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto and an early professional start as an apprentice actor at Canada’s prestigious Shaw Festival. He has been mentored by legendary creators including Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber, two-time Academy Award winner A.R. Rahman, and the late Harold Prince.
In addition to his dramatic and musical work, Gabriel is a seasoned comedic actor and improviser, trained at UCB Theatre (Los Angeles). He has performed with UCB Mess Hall, Sin City Improv (Las Vegas), and Channel 101 (Los Angeles). With wide-ranging experience across genres, languages, and media, Gabriel Burrafato continues to build a career defined by versatility, discipline, and a distinctive artistic voice.
