Commissioned by Works & Process, UNDERSCORED is a multi-faceted project that acts as a living archive of five generations of NYC club dancers.

This November, Works & Process continues to amplify its support for performing artists and their creative process, producing residencies across New York State and presenting a robust series of programs at the Guggenheim Museum and expanding offerings to Gibney Center, Lincoln Center, and The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, in partnership with the Jerome Robbins Dance Division. Featuring premieres by Les Ballet Afrik, Ephrat Asherie Dance, and Masterz at Work Dance Family; performances by Ladies of Hip-Hop and LayeRhythm Dance Conversation with New York City Club Legends; and additional LaunchPAD 'Process as Destination' residencies.

As a process-focused performing arts organization, Works & Process continued to provide opportunities and fees for artists throughout the pandemic, and pioneered the bubble residency model to support their work safely. The fall 2022 season will feature the official world premieres of works created by New York artists.

'In the MOment: A Drawing Dance' will inspire its intended audience of 4-and-ups with its delightfully sleek, bouncy, playful universe of human movement and green-screen geometric exploration.

Ryan Raftery returns to Joe's Pub for his fifth consecutive run, premiering his new celebrity bio-musical comedy IVANKA 2020. A wild, irreverent mash-up of the classic film The Manchurian Candidate and the animated classic Anastasia, Raftery's latest piece is a satirical commentary on what is arguably the most fascinating political landscape the United States has seen in decades.

Playwright Paul Alexander is a NY nightlife legend most notably known for the 1990s performance art-dance party Jackie 60 where he honed his vocal emcee and performance skills. Following many solo underground dance singles he gained international success with the dance pop trio THE ONES, known for their #1 Dance/#7 Pop hit Flawless.

Fashion and nightclub icons turned out in force to celebrate the opening of their friend and colleague, Paul Alexander, and his new musical TRINKETS playing now at Gene Frankel Theater. Performances are on Aug 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12  & 16. Pascal Rioult's renowned dance company, RIOULT Dance NY, the American modern dance company with a European sensibility, announces its 2017 season at The Joyce Theater, May 31 - June 4. This year, Rioult unveils two groundbreaking dances: the world premiere of Fire in the Sky and a re-staging of the classic Te Deum.
