The Canon Shakespeare Company is proud to present its production of THE COMEDY OF ERRORS at Portland's Twilight Theatre, from April 29 through May 8. This beloved Shakespeare comedy will lean into the inherent absurdity and slapstick comedy of the original, including featuring two pairs of twins that look nothing alike. In 1933, an expedition set out for the Indian Ocean, in hopes of creating the greatest film ever made. Instead, they brought back a giant captive gorilla. This was a terrible idea. KONG: A GODDAMN THIRTY-FOOT GORILLA is a genre-bending deconstruction/parody of the classic King Kong story, with commentary on the 1933 film, audience participation, dinosaur fights, and a very large ape on a very small stage.
