 The Industry presents the third installment of FIRST TAKE, a biennial workshop of new American operas - the only showcase of its kind on the West Coast. Saturday, February 25 (8 - 10 pm) brings the debut of SECOND TAKE, presenting an entire performance of a new opera first heard on the previous FIRST TAKE program.

BWW Review: Troubies Rock Falcon Theatre with LITTLE DRUMMER BOWIE

The Troubadour Theater Company's Little Drummer Bowie was first presented at the Falcon in 2005, and with the fairly recent passing of iconic musician David Bowie, it seems the perfect time to bring it back. For many Bowie and rock are synonymous, just as director/founder Garry Marshall and the Falcon have been synonymous. Both Marshall and Bowie passed away in 2016. They brought music, love and laughter to the world through the arts, so The Troubadour Theater Company is paying tribute to both men with the revival of this production.

High school seniors of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA) got the graduation ceremony of their dreams on Saturday, May 18, when Disney Theatrical Group President Thomas Schumacher delivered their commencement address, and the diplomas were presented by 'Mary Poppins' herself: UNCSA alumna Rachel Wallace. A 2009 college graduate, Wallace just completed a run in the national tour and the New Zealand company of the popular Disney show. Scroll down for photos from the ceremony!
