BIO
Benjamin Shaw's previous Broadway credits include End of the Rainbow (pre-Broadway at the Guthrie Theatre) and The Glass Menagerie starring Cherry Jones, a production that he later remounted for the Edinburgh International Festival. Other theatre includes 5 years with the annual national tour of Elf, the Musical and Beauty and the Beast aboard Disney Cruise Line, as well as one-night only events for New York Theatre Workshop, the New York Library of the Performing Arts, and L'Oreal Paris. Benjamin grew up in Pittsburgh and graduated from Muhlenberg College.

Harris; Music by Trent Jeffords is being presented at the New York Musical Theatre Festival with performances at PTC Performance Space (Pearl Theatre Company), 555 West 42nd Street, NYC. Performances begin next week. They are: Friday, July 18 at 8pm; Saturday, July 19 at 5pm; Sunday, July 20 at 8pm; and the newly added additional show on Tuesday, July 22nd at 1:00pm; Tuesday, July 22 at 5:00 pm; and Saturday, July 26 at 9pm.

Following a successful launch at the New York Musical Theater Festival (NYMF) in 2010, Artists WithOut Limits (AWOL) Theatre Project, Inc. announces the second annual presentation of 8Minute Musicals, a program that challenges emerging musical theatre writers and composers to create 8 original 8-minute musicals in just two weeks. An impressive collection of theatrical talents are strategically placed into teams and given a common theme as inspiration for their work. The freshly-inked pieces are fully staged, briefly rehearsed, then presented to the public on Monday, March 14 at the TBG Theatre.
