Living legend Rita Moreno stops by 'Awards Chatter' podcast to chat about her life in the industry. On Tuesday, October 5 (9 pm), PBS will air American Masters - Rita Moreno: Just a Girl Who Decided to Go For It.

The documentary John Leguizamo's Road To Broadway is among this year's Imagen Awards nominees. The NGL Studios documentary was produced by Bradley Kaplan and Jill Krikorian and directed by Ben DeJesus.

Latino Public Broadcasting (LPB) today announced that Season 5 of VOCES, the acclaimed PBS documentary series exploring Latino arts, culture and history, will premiere on four consecutive Fridays, September 13-October 4, 2019 (check local listings) on PBS, pbs.org and the PBS Video app. VOCES is presented by PBS SoCal.

A special co-presentation of Great Performances and Latino Public Broadcasting's VOCES, John Leguizamo's Road to Broadway, directed by Ben DeJesus, premieres nationwide Friday, November 16 at 9 p.m. on PBS (check local listings). Great Performances presents more of the Great White Way's brightest stars with a new "Broadway's Best" lineup premiering Fridays, November 2-23 at 9 p.m. on PBS (check local listings). Returning for a second year, this fall's lineup includes the beloved musicals "An American in Paris The Musical" and Rodgers & Hammerstein's "The Sound of Music," as well as documentaries about the making of John Leguizamo's Tony-nominated play "Latin History for Morons" and 21-time Tony-winning director and producer Harold Prince. All programs will be available to stream the following day via pbs.org/gperf and PBS apps.

The producers of John Leguizamo's LATIN HISTORY FOR MORONS, announced today that the one-man play has become the first play to recoup its capitalization this season. LATIN HISTORY FOR MORONS recouped in the first 15 weeks of its limited run at Broadway's Studio 54 (254 West 54th Street). The original 16-week engagement was extended an additional three weeks on opening night, November 15, 2017.

Only four final weeks before he's history! LATIN HISTORY FOR MORONS, written and performed by John Leguizamo, will conclude on Sunday, February 25 at 3:00 PM.

There's still more history to be written! Latin History For Morons, written and performed by John Leguizamo, which officially opened Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Broadway's Studio 54 (254 West 54th Street) has announced a three-week extension now through Sunday, February 25, 2018.
