Ava Gaudet Biography

Ava Gaudet is the daughter of a jazz musician and an actress, so it seemed in her blood to be a performer. Ava began her studies as a BFA acting major at Marymount Manhattan College, then finished her degree at the acclaimed Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. Upon graduation, she moved to New York City where she joined the Broadway cast of RENT in the role of ‚ÄúMaureen.‚ÄĚ While in NYC, she held a memorable recurring role on ABC‚Äôs UGLY BETTY, playing the trash-talking, and always confrontational neighbor to America Ferrera and Ana Ortiz. Originally from Providence, Rhode Island, Ava now lives in Los Angeles.
