Andreas Carlsson Biography
Swedish born Andreas Carlsson belongs to a rare fraternity of composers having sold over 150 million albums. He's been honored with the "Export Prize" from the Swedish government, the ASCAP Songwriter of the Year Award and has been nominated for five U.S. Grammys. Carlsson's song credits are modern classics like "I Want It That Way" and "Drowning" for Backstreet Boys; "I'm Alive" for Celine Dion; "Waking Up In Vegas" for Katy Perry; "Bye Bye Bye" for N'Sync; just to name a few. Carlsson has also written career-defining songs for Carrie Underwood, Britney Spears, Def Leppard, Westlife, Bon Jovi and Ricky Martin. Carlsson is the author of three books and has been the leading judge for both "Idol" and "X-Factor" in Sweden. Apart from devoting time to his brand of multiple schools across his native country, Carlsson, he is currently working on his next musical called Beyond The Velvet Rope.Andreas Carlsson News

Once again the Swedish musical star Anton Zetterholm has landed a role internationally. He will play the young pianist Joey in Paramour at the Theater Neue Flora in Hamburg, which is premiered in April 2019, which is also the Europe premier for the show. Anton has last played in West Side Story in Malmo and before that he played Raoul in the Fantasy at the Stockholm Opera, together with Peter Joback. In Germany he has played Tarzan and on West End he played Enjolras in Les Miserables.

Lively McCabe Entertainment announces that it has inked a deal with Round Hill Music, a full-service, creative music company with a core focus on music publishing. The deal grants the company, recently launched by producer Michael Barra, access to Round Hill Music's catalogue of music and artists to package into new entertainment projects. Lively McCabe Entertainment will package and produce projects in which the music is instrumental to the storytelling -- as opposed to solely serving as the soundtrack. The projects will span across various media platforms, including the live stage, as well as television series, films, digital media, and book publishing.

Scott Sanders Productions announced today that the world premiere of the new comedy musical, TOOTSIE, will play a pre-Broadway engagement this fall at Broadway In Chicago's Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 West Randolph Street, Chicago, IL) from September 11 October 14. TOOTSIE will come to Broadway in spring 2019.
