BIO

ALLIANA LILI YANG is a 15 year old actor and a classically trained vocalist based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Alliana has trained and performed with the San Francisco Opera, San Francisco Conservatory of Music, A.C.T. San Francisco, Broadway Sacramento, Actors Technique NY, KOTA Productions, and Westlake School for the Performing Arts. She has also performed in professional opera productions with leading Bay Area companies, including Pocket Opera's Albert Herring

(Cis) and Madama Butterfly (The Cousin Cover), and Festival Opera's productions of Handel's Alcina (Oberto Cover) and Verdi's La Traviata.
Some of her most notable credits include the roles of Martha Cratchit in A.C.T.'s A Christmas Carol 2023; a Super Child actor in Il Trovatore with the San Francisco Opera; Lady Bracknell in The Importance of Being Earnest with A.C.T. Young Conservatory; Fan/Belinda Cratchit in the immersive production of A Christmas Carol with Silicon Valley Shakespeare in 2022 and 2024; Winnie in Discovering Beckett with A.C.T. Young Conservatory; Super Child actor in Eugene Onegin with the San Francisco Opera; Margaret Dashwood in Sense and Sensibility with Silicon Valley Shakespeare; Kathy Selden in Singin' in the Rain with WSPA/MTC; Crane Spirit in Folktales From Around the World with Silicon Valley Shakespeare; Messenger in Electra with A.C.T. Young Conservatory; Eurydice in In Search of Eurydice with SF Opera Guild; Kendra/Charlotte in 13: The Musical with ATNY; Duffy in Annie with KOTA Productions, NY; Fairytale Reader/Silly Girl in Beauty and the Beast with Open Hydrant Theatre, NY; Glinda the Good Witch in Wizard of Oz with Wonderstruck Players, IL; Little Fan in the Northside Theater Company production of A Christmas Carol in 2019 and 2020; Sunny in A Ghostly Holiday Celebration with A.C.T. Young Conservatory; First Spirit in The Virtual Magic Flute with SF Opera Guild; and Nibelung Child in Das Rheingold/The Ring with the San Francisco Opera.
In 2023, at 11 years of age, Alliana performed her first solo concert as part of the Stories in Bloom public programming at Filoli Historic House & Garden, and opened a historic 'Our Time' event hosted by Asians Are Strong at the San Francisco Ferry Building. Alliana was a featured soloist in 'Music for a Miracle' Ukraine Benefit Concert, the SF Vigil for Victims of Lunar New Year Gun Violence, and Lions Lighthouse Concert Humanitarian Aid for Turkey & Syria. Her artistic accomplishments have been recognized by civic and state leaders throughout California. In addition to receiving a Mayor's Cultural Achievement Award from Fullerton Mayor Fred Jung and multiple Certificates of Recognition from California State Treasurer Fiona Ma, Alliana has been honored by the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, the California State
Senate, and other public officials for her artistic excellence, cultural leadership, and service to the community.
Alliana has been featured in the LUXURY TRENDING, SHOWBIZ, ArtScene+, and LUXCLUB magazines, and in multiple segments on KRON 4. In 2025, she became the youngest individual to grace the Cover of VITALI® Magazine and was selected for an Outstanding Teen feature in the URBAN TEEN Magazine. In May of 2024, she opened the official APA Heritage Month Awards at the Herbst Theatre in San Francisco with a National Anthem, and gave a special performance at SF City Hall during the reception. In June 2024 and 2025, as a featured soloist, Alliana opened the annual MODEFA SF Modern Ethnic Fashion Week's haute couture fashion show.
In 2025, she was awarded First Prize in the Virtuoso Opera Vocal category at the Grand Spring Concours International Competition. This year, she further earned international recognition at the World Grand Prix International Music Competition and the Golden Classical Music Awards International Competition, receiving top honors for her vocal artistry and distinguished technical achievement.
A multiple winner of prestigious international vocal competitions, Alliana has earned ninety awards worldwide and has received invitations to perform at some of the world's most celebrated venues, including Carnegie Hall, the Walt Disney Concert Hall, and St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican City, as well as Parco della Musica in Rome, the Gläserner Saal of the
Musikverein in Vienna, the Haydnsaal at Esterházy Palace, the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, and the Philharmonie de Paris. She is a multiple Grand Prize Virtuoso International Music Competition winner and a recipient of top honors from numerous international classical voice competitions.
As part of her 2026 national performance tour, Alliana returned to the Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall, where her featured solo performance earned four standing ovations. She has now appeared as a soloist at Carnegie Hall five times. Earlier, at age thirteen, she made her debut as a Special Guest Soloist at Stern Auditorium, concluding her performance with an extended standing ovation.
In addition to her performance career, Alliana is dedicated to arts advocacy and community engagement. As a Youth Ambassador for Mercury Soul, founded by three-time GRAMMY® Award winner Mason Bates, she actively helps introduce classical music to younger and more diverse audiences through innovative cross-disciplinary artistic experiences.
She also serves as a Youth Ambassador for Building Education and the American Federation Pueri Cantores. Through
benefit concerts, community fundraisers, and charitable performances, she has helped support initiatives that have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for local, national, and international causes. During the pandemic, she participated in numerous virtual performances that helped raise over $100,000 for charitable organizations nationwide. Through her ongoing involvement in community fundraisers and cultural events throughout the Bay Area, she has contributed to
efforts that have raised nearly half a million dollars for local and international causes.
