BIO
Alina Robert is a cuban actress, born in Havana and based in Miami. She has performed in international stages, including plays such as Eclipse (Dominican Republic) Far ndula (Cuba), Ubersex, Living Out, The True Story of Pedro Navaja, Shakespeare in Madness and In the Time of the Butterflies (USA), winning Best Actress at the BroadwayWorld Washington DC Awards 2018. She began her career in television hosting the Legendary Show S bado Gigante. She latter performed in various tv series, most notably Betty in NY and Mariposa of Barrio. Recently she debuted in the english market starring in the film Make Love Great Again featured on HBO.

Alina Robert has been cast in a new lead supporting role in the upcoming drama series The Roar of the Butterflies, portraying one of the three legendary Dominican activist Mirabal sisters, Patria Mirabal. This will be one of the first exclusive series acquired by Star+, part of The Walt Disney Company Latin America.
