This hilarious frolic launched Feydeau in Paris as the Neil Simon of his day. Take one philandering husband, his virtuous wife and a doctor - toss them together at 13 Rue de L'Amour where a love starved German countess is the concierge. This fast-paced farce is filled with fibs, twists and turns in a series of unfortunate events in 1800s Paris.

This hilarious farce follows 'ladies man' Bernard, who has Italian, German, and American fiancees, each one airline hostesses with different airlines and with different schedules. He manages to juggle all three until unexpected airline schedule changes bring all of them (and Robert, an old school chum) to Paris and to Bernard's apartment at the same time.
