BIO

Adrienne Fishe is a native of NYC. Adrienne has performed, toured and recorded nationally and internationally with major recording artists. Recent credits include YES! The Musical directed by Mercedes Ellington, music by Earl Wilson Jr.; SING! The Power of the Human Voice, New York Stage Originals, (NYSO), directed by Lisa Hopkins; the 10 year anniversary tour and National tour of RENT; regional theater productions of Aida, Beauty and The Beast, West Side Story and The Faces of Black History (as Mahalia Jackson, Aretha Franklin and Bessie Smith).



Adrienne is a proud member of AEA and SAG-AFTRA.

On Monday, June 22, 2015, over 25 company members (Broadway, National, International, Asian World Tour, Regional) of the multiple Tony-award winning musical RENT helped celebrate LGBT pride with a special tribute to Jonathan Larson's contributions to the theater and LGBT communities. On hand were special guest speakers and original RENT creative team members Marlies Yearby (Tony nominee, original RENT choreographer) and Billy Aronson (original RENT collaborator). The first public presentation of Wilson's new show, called YES! THE MUSICAL, will be given a single showcase salon performance on Monday, March 5, at 8 PM -- one year and one day later from the day he started it -- at the Rose Nagelberg Theater at the Baruch Performing Arts Center on 25th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue. The production, with book, music and lyrics by Wilson, is being presented by The Theater at the Duke Ellington Center For The Arts, with Mercedes Ellington as director- choreographer.
