The Wick Theatre's 2016/2017 Season:

THEY'RE PLAYING OUR SONG

Starring Broadway's Andrea McArdle

October 13 - November 6

A musical comedy by master of the genre Neil Simon, music by Marvin Hamlisch, and lyrics by Carole Bayer Sager. The hit musical about an established composer and his relationship with an aspiring young female lyricist. Professionally, their relationship works beautifully-but ultimately leads to conflict on the home front. Don't worry, there's a happy ending.

SISTER ACT

November 25 - December 23

Broadway's habit-forming musical comedy smash will make you jump for joy! When wannabe disco diva Deloris Van Cartier witnesses a crime, the cops hide her in the last place anyone would think to look-a convent! Under the suspicious watch of Mother Superior, Deloris helps her fellow sisters find their voices as she unexpectedly rediscovers her own. Featuring original music by eight-time Oscar winner Alan Menken (Beauty And The Beast, The Little Mermaid, Newsies), this uplifting musical is filled with toe-tapping songs, outrageous show-stopping dancing and a truly moving story. A sparkling tribute to the universal power of friendship, SISTER ACT is reason to rejoice!

WEST SIDE STORY

Jan. 12 - Feb. 19

Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet is transported to modern-day New York City, as two young idealistic lovers find themselves caught between warring street gangs, the "American" Jets and the Puerto Rican Sharks. Their struggle to survive in a world of hate, violence and prejudice is one of the most innovative, heart-wrenching and relevant musical.

GUYS AND DOLLS

March 9 - April 9

Considered by many to be the perfect musical comedy, and featuring great musical theatre classics like "Luck Be A Lady," "A Bushel and a Peck," and "Sit Down, You're Rockin' the Boat," Guys and Dolls weaves a tale of old-time gangsters, hot-box girls, and gambling. Join Nathan, Adelaide, Sky, and Sarah in one of America's best-loved musicals.

BEEHIVE

April 20 - May 14

The titles say it all: "Downtown," "To Sir With Love," "It's My Party," "Where the Boys Are," "Respect." It's "Beehive, the '60s Musical," and audiences around the world are cheering this exciting and colorful salute to the women who made the music of the 1960s so special - everyone from Lesley Gore to Janis Joplin, from the Shirelles to Aretha Franklin. And everyone in between.
