Mad Cow Theatre's The Philadelphia Story, by Philip Barry, opens today, March 20, 2015 in The Harriett Theatre as part of Season 18.

Wedding bells are ringing for Tracy Lord, but who she'll end up with is anything but certain. This beautiful, wealthy socialite has her sight set on three eligible bachelors stumbling over themselves to win her hand. All the while, the tabloids threaten to ruin the Lord family name if Tracy isn't careful. So who will she choose - her nouveau riche fiancé, a charming reporter, or her persistent ex-husband? Precursor to the 1941 Katherine Hepburn film classic, Philip Barry's The Philadelphia Story remains one of America's signature romantic comedies.

The cast of The Philadelphia Story features Brian Brightman as C.K. Dexter Haven (The Letters, Dancing at Lughnasa), Brian Chambers as Uncle Willie (Sunday in the Park with George), Becky Eck as Liz Imbrie (Death of a Salesman, Enchanted April), Kennedy Joy Foristall as Dinah Lord (Cat on a Hot Tin Roof), Robert Johnston as Mike Conner (The History Boys, The Light in the Piazza), Rachel Whittington as Elsie (James Joyce's The Dead), Garrett Jurss as Mac/Dr. Parsons (Legacy of Light), Tommy Keesling as Seth Lord (The History Boys, Table Manners), Scott Edwin Leake as George Kittredge in his Mad Cow debut, Piper Rae Patterson as Tracy Lord (Collected Stories, Venus in Fur), Leslie Penuel as Margaret Lord in her Mad Cow debut, John Hamilton Rice as Thomas (The 2nd Annual Science Play Festival), and Kevin Zepf as Sandy Lord (The Explorers Club, Dreamgirls).

Direction is by Aradhana Tiwari (I and You, Cock, The Light in the Piazza), set design by William Elliott, sound design by Michael Powers and Aradhana Tiwari, costume coordination by Danielle Paccione, and lighting design by Erin Miner.
