A down on his luck Broadway producer and a timid accountant hatch what seems like the perfect scheme: raise far more money than a show could ever earn, stage a guaranteed flop, and keep the difference. Determined to create the worst musical in history, they mount an outrageously tasteless production certain to fail. But when their disaster becomes an unexpected smash hit, their foolproof plan quickly spirals out of control.
