Maxine, a feisty, bitter Alzheimer's victim, doesn't want to move into a nursing facility. But when she meets Joe, a widower who shares her love for dance, her outlook begins to change. Although the two clash when lucid, their hazy memories overlap, and they begin an affair that rejuvenates and fulfills them. But can these lovers -- played simultaneously by an elderly twosome and a young, vivacious couple -- stay together despite their families' wishes and their fading vitality?

June 14, 2020 3rd Act Theatre Company closes out their inaugural season with MOONGLOW. The story of two Alzheimer's patients who find each other as they're losing their memories is beautiful and gives a true-to-life account of the cruel effects of Alzheimer's and Dementia.
3rd Act Theatre Company Reopens To Complete First Season
May 28, 2020 3rd Act Theatre Company, a 501(c)3 non-profit theatre company in Oklahoma City, will reopen its theatrical space and close its first season with Moonglow by Kim Carney, a touching comedy/drama that addresses the issues families face around Alzheimer's disease, directed by Don Taylor. Shows are each Friday and Saturday at 8:00 p.m., and Sundays at 2:30 p.m. from June 12-28, 2020. The final Sunday performance, on June 28, will be streamed via web and the theater will be closed.
3rd Act Theatre Company Announces Season 2: POWER
April 02, 2020 3rd Act Theatre Company announced their second season, themed POWER, and shows to be performed, via a livestream event on Facebook last Saturday. Mainstage shows are: Running Mates by Beth Kandor, Setting the Nation Right and Other Easy Plays for Women, by Bell Elliot Palmer, and Heartbreak House by George Bernard Shaw.

March 25, 2020 3rd Act Theatre Company, a 501(c)3 new non-profit theatre company in Oklahoma City, will announce their second season's theme, POWER, and shows to be performed, via a livestream event on Facebook Saturday, March 28, 2020 at 7 p.m. CT. 3rd Act artists will reflect on the soon-to-be completed first season, including the currently postponed production of Kim Carney's Moonglow, and their home space at The Shoppes at Northpark.About the Theatre
