Pianist Taka Kigawa and the String Orchestra of New York City split the bill on a concert of new music by Lisa Bielawa, Zosha Di Castri, Richard Carrick and Victoria Bond. This concert is part of the 20th anniversary season of Victoria Bond’s Cutting Edge Concerts New Music Festival. Also included in the concert series is Grammy-nominated Eroica Trio April 3, and upcoming on May 1: “Offbeat Operas” with the Cygnus Ensemble, also at Symphony Space.
