On Tuesday, October 17, 8:00 pm, ACFNY (11 E 52nd St in Manhattan) hosts the award-winning experimental percussionist and composer Josef Klammer, whose projects include "Drumming Is an Elastic Concept". Klammer’s unique combination of percussion and electronics creates otherworldly sounds by kneading on drum heads as if they were dough and drumming on thin air. The New York performance artist PAUL - the pseudonym of artist Angelina Dreem - performs saxophone improvisations using digital manipulation. Admission is free, and reservations (at ACFNY.org) are required.
