Julia Chiang Art Sundae Children's Workshop at Rockefeller Center® presented by Art Production Fund: Free Family Activities on Saturday, September 6 at 10 Rockefeller Plaza

This fall, artist Julia Chiang will debut a new public art exhibition at Rockefeller Center, featuring Chiang’s signature blend of color, form, and emotion at a larger-than-life scale. On Saturday, September 6 at 10 Rockefeller Plaza from 10AM to 1PM, Chiang and Art Production Fund will also host a free and public children’s interactive art-making workshop for all ages at Rockefeller Center as part of the Art Sundae program. This Art Sundae workshop is made possible with generous support from Leatherology.

Children will create vases inspired by Chiang’s ceramic practice using Model Magic, exploring clay-molding techniques and experimenting with bold colors and dynamic designs. The completed sculptures will then be displayed at Rockefeller Center as part of the public art exhibition. Learn more about Chiang’s exhibition here.
