Corinna Sowers Adler will be honored with a Bistro Award for “Outstanding Vocalist and Educator” at the 41st Annual Bistro Awards, to be held at Chelsea Table + Stage on Monday, March 16 at 7:00 PM. Her show All That Matters has been called “an example of perfect cabaret” by Stephen Mosher of BroadwayWorld. Sowers Adler is Founding Artistic Director of NiCori Studios & Productions, dedicated to bringing theatre and vocal arts education programming and performance to the next generation, familiarizing them with the American Songbook. She is also a 2026 MAC Award-nominee in the “Female Vocalist” category. The 40th Annual MAC Awards will be held at Peter Jay Sharp Theatre, Symphony Space, on Monday, March 23 at 7:00 PM.

Corinna Sowers Adler is a 2026 Bistro Award-Winner and MAC Award-Nominee for her show All That Matters. She has been nominated for the special “Excellence in Theatre Education” Tony Award every year for a decade. She made her solo New York cabaret debut in 2010 at the Laurie Beechman Theatre in Stories…A Cabaret. Since then, she has been in high demand, performing solo shows in NYC’s finest cabaret rooms, including the Appel Room at Jazz at Lincoln Center, where she debuted the concert series “Music Over Manhattan.” Sowers Adler has been a featured singer several times at the Cabaret Convention held at Jazz at Lincoln Center, presented by The Mabel Mercer Foundation.  She hosts and produces the “Music at the Mansion”™ series and was nominated for the 2012 and 2014 BroadwayWorld Cabaret Awards in the “Best Female Vocalist” and “Best Host of a Variety Show” categories and the 2020 MAC Awards for “Best Female Vocalist.” She and her husband, Nicholas Adler, also produce the New Jersey Cabaret Festival, which celebrates performers who have a connection to the Garden State. Sowers Adler is Founding Artistic Director of NiCori Studios & Productions, dedicated to bringing theatre and vocal arts education programming and performance to the next generation, familiarizing them with the American Songbook. Shane Turner
Pianist
Shane Turner is a pianist, composer, arranger, and orchestrator who works in and around New York City on a wide variety of musical theatre projects. Amongst these was New Studio on Broadway’s A Chorus Line at NYU, wherein he acted as the music director. He’s been the music director for NiCori Studios for several years, and he worked on the development of All That Matters with director and vocalist Corinna Sowers-Adler. Additionally, he’s assisted in the development of multiple new works, including Dr. Joseph Church’s Who Is Jimmy Pants with the York Theatre Company, and the world premiere of Purple Rain.
