The Austrian Cultural Forum New York presents the Argento Chamber Ensemble. Admission is free, and reservations (online at ACFNY.org) are required. Argento's "Double Take Project" explores two works: Arnold Schoenbergs Verklrte Nacht (translation: transfigured night 1899) and Erin Gees Mouthpiece 29 (2016), by performing two different versions of each piece in one concert.Vocalist/composer Charmaine Lee and clarinetist Carol McGonnell embody the theme of the evening of duality opening the concert with a structured improvisation.
