Common Sister, a new creative production company, is excited to announce their inaugural event, The Common Stage Festival and Artist Mixer.
The festival will showcase staged excerpts from four new plays by emerging playwrights. The evening will include an artist mixer focused on building new communities, expanding your network, and meeting future collaborators.
After a competitive pool of applications, we are thrilled to share and support four emerging playwrights in developing new works-in-progress with rehearsal resources and access to our creative community.

ABOUT COMMON SISTER
Common Sister is a creative production company that exists to make room. Room for untold stories, emerging artists, and communities too often left out of the big stories. By nurturing artists first and being intentional, we transform connection and community into performance.
Co-founded by Katie Brown and Rachel Lee, Common Sister curates and selects work that highlights universal human experiences, fully grasping the breadth of diversity that exists in our community. Every background, every discipline, adds a thread to the tapestry we’re weaving together. In the end, we discover how much we share, even in our differences.
