Gehan A Cooray, the classically cool and handsome Sri Lankan-American Baritone singer has been likened to Broadway's Golden Age leading man Alfred Drake by the Artistic Director of Connecticut's Sharon Playhouse. Having performed a solo concert at Carnegie Hall, Gehan brings a spectacularly nostalgic array of Broadway Showtunes, Operatic Arias and Vintage Melodies to the intimate and cozy atmosphere of The Green Room 42 - the better to connect with Manhattan's music aficionados up close and personal.
From Opera's most universally adored 'Toreador Song' and the amorous 'La vie en rose' through the suave sophistication of Cole Porter standards and the epic anthems of Lerner & Loewe's CAMELOT to even a few gender-bender surprises, Gehan A Cooray will take the audience on a grand, heartfelt musical journey to elegant epochs and the most romantic realms!
If you cannot attend the show in person, you can purchase livestream tickets which will give you online access to the performance for a week.
