Pearl Necklace is a dirty comedy dripping in burlesque glamour, vintage decadence, and a touch of film noir. Telling stories from her glamorous—and not-so-glamorous—life, Natalie Perlin brings a comedy that’s sharp and wicked, yet unexpectedly sweet and melancholy, finding humor in the timeless, titillating absurdity of being a woman in the modern world. Definitely not for pearl clutchers. After all, Pearl Necklace is more than just jewelry.

The Hidden Jewel Box Theater, created by director and choreographer Angela Harriell of The Love Show NYC, is an intimate baroque pop-up theater tucked away in a secret corner of the Theater District. The bohemian haven blends decorative elements inspired by Rococo paintings, Victorian boudoirs, 1970s discotheques, and Grimm fairy tales. Because the building is marked for demolition, this rare and exquisite space is available only for a limited time — the exact address is disclosed exclusively to ticketed guests.
