Featuring original bluegrass and country music, MONSTRESS is a homespun musical that celebrates the rejuvenating power of storytelling. A band of humble folx gather on the back porch to swap some stories: specifically the infamous tales of female monsters from Greek mythology (Medusa, Sphinx, the Sirens, and others). But these folx dont want to tell the stories in any old way; they want to snatch these monstrous myths away from the patriarchy once and for allshare them in a fresh, empowering light. MONSTRESS proves to be an unmissable theatrical event: a fiercely feminine work full of combative charm and inspiring delight.
