Free Space at The Bushwick Starr

Griffin wants to find the best home for his house party. Having played in Philadelphia living rooms, a converted old schoolhouse, and a theatre studio space in midtown, Griffin has moved to Bushwick and wants to hang out at The Bushwick Starr. With you. He has been called “a good bringer-together of humans.” There will be drinks, live music, and bingo.

FREE SPACE is a game night theatrical experience. It explores a father-son relationship through the lens of choice. No show is ever the same as the audience chooses the direction of the night based on the possibilities on their bingo cards. Or on what they want Griffin to talk about. Or if they just want him to drink. It pits each person’s drive to shout “BINGO!!” against their empathy for Griffin.
