Catbaret — NYC’s beloved cat-themed variety show — returns to Caveat on March 5, 2026 with The Cat Lady Purr-ty, a one-night-only celebration of Cat Lady culture. The event is presented by Weruva, a brand known for its commitment to feline wellness. Hosted by creator Gemma Smith, Catbaret blends comedy, music, and burlesque (aka purr-lesque) in a lively evening designed for cat lovers and nightlife fans alike.

Now in its seventh year, Catbaret has produced over 25 shows across New York City, including popular editions such as Meowloween, A Galentine’s Day Paw-ty, and Just Kitten Around!. The show is known for its warm, inclusive atmosphere and audience engagement — including free cat ears for all attendees, an audience contest, and raffle prizes benefiting local animal welfare.

The March 5 lineup features Matt Koff (The Daily Show), Tabby Twitch, Diva LaMarr, Fortune Cookie, Lorna Wren, Witch Tulips, and Nirah, with stage kittens Zeeva Purrfecta and Jenny Purrson helping keep the evening running smoothly.

Raffle proceeds from the event will benefit Rescue NYC, continuing Catbaret’s mission of celebrating cats while supporting animal rescue initiatives.
