It Might as Well Be Gay will feature Golden Age classics, but with a gay twist! Queering selections from the Golden Age canon, this beautiful evening of queer romance and community will begin at 9:30 p.m. on June 1st, at Caveat NYC.
This perfect kick-off to pride month features singers Molly Armstrong, Sara Ross Avery, Cassidy Beleele, Jasmine Belfast, Rosalie Burke, Barry-Suzanne Collins, Taylor House, Ria Ipa, Devan Kushnir, Alyssa Marie Leo, Francesca Litterio, Paige Lord, Mandi Marko, Anne E Miele, Mia Rose, Lucy Stearns, Dennis Taylor, and Zoey Wilson, and is being music directed by Tiffany Marie Wilhelm.
FATE is a NYC based production company centering female and nonbinary voices.

Cast
Molly Armstrong is a performer baaed out of NYC. She is a proud graduate of Valdosta State University and received her BFA in Theatre in 2024. Her previous credits include Merry Wives of Windsor (Mistress Page), The Wolves (#2), Always A Bridesmaid (Kari). She wants to thank her family, friends for their ongoing support, her boyfriend Drew, for his eternal optimism, and dog, Bleu, for his notes on all her self-tapes.
Sara is a midwestern born actor who moved to the city to study at the Stella Adler conservatory and never looked back. Recently she has been seen at 54 Below in Sapphic Song Sessions; The History of Lesbian Pop, and as Hope Cladwell in Purple Light’s 24 hour production of Urinetown. A creative at heart, when not performing they can be seen crocheting, sewing, and making trinkets for loved ones.
Hi! My name is Cass! I studied musical theatre at the American Musical Dramatic Academy. When I’m not performing, I love writing. I am so excited for this opportunity!
Jasmine Belfast is elated to be joining the cast of It Might As Well Be Gay and wants to thank Tiffany for allowing her to be a part of such an innovative project. She began her BFA in Acting at Texas State University and has since transferred to the Los Angeles Film School to pursue her Bachelor’s in Screenwriting. Recent credits include Aquila Theatre’s 2023 national tour of Julius Caesar (Calpurnia, Octavius) and Pride and Prejudice (Lydia Bennett, Charlotte Lucas) as well as In Arabia We’d All Be Kings (Daisy), Stupid F*cking Bird (Mash), and Romeo and Juliet (Juliet).

Hi! my Name is Barry-Suzanne! I'm a New York City based Theatre Maker and a fervent advocate for arts education and accessibility within the arts. I am most passionate about telling stories which reflect my own life experiences, focusing on queer narratives and black identity! I am a proud holder of a BFA in Theatre from New York University Tisch School Of The Arts, having completed 4 years of advanced actor training at the Stella Adler Studio Of Acting, and a minor in American Sign Language. Taylor is a singer / actress who enjoys performing in all aspects of theatre. Her recent roles include Lisa from a New Brain, and Helsa Wenzel from The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940. She is also set to play a role in the New York Premiere of Wayne’s Gun the Musical at the New York Theatre Festival later this June. She also has performed at Lincoln Center with The New York Choral Society.
Hi! My name is Ria Ipa, and ever since being released into the world with a diploma in vocal performance from the Manhattan School of Music, I have been an unstoppable force. Recently, I made my Caveat Debut in Pop Princexx, performed at The Green Room 42 in If The Tiara Fits 3 and Three’s a crowd, made my big screen debut in YAPs: The Documentary by Victory Hall Opera, returned from my first ever European tour with the American Chamber Orchestra, traveled to wonderland as Alice in Alice: The trail to Wonderland, and got to frolic around the Met Cloisters with friends and colleagues during the premiere of Paola Prestini’s “Primero Sueño.” In my artistic endeavors and beyond, my mission is to use my voice, time and talents to inspire others, create community, and awaken humanity, one note at a time. I am so excited to be in It Might as Well be Gay!
Devan Kushnir is a performer and collaborator with an open heart. Devan has recently graduated from NYU Tisch with a degree in Drama, and is still honing his craft with an excitement for discovery. He enjoys creating with his friends, and has recently started collaborating with film artists like Lena Góra and Jeff Preiss. Devan can’t wait to see where life will take him next!
Hi, my name is Alyssa! I am an actor living in New York and mainly love going out with friends as much as possible. I studied acting at VSU and the last cabaret I was in was in May at the Greenroom 42. It was called Threes a Crowd 2. I’m thrilled to be here and queer in this wonderful cabaret!!
Francesca Litterio is a graduate of Wagner College and a New York–based performer. She has appeared in a variety of productions across the city, including Hello, Dolly! in Concert at Carnegie Hall, work with Columbia University’s MFA directing program, cabarets, and other independent theater projects. By day, she works as a software engineer at TodayTix. Mandi Marko is a recent graduate from Wagner Colleges Theater Performance program. Since graduating they have been performing regionally at various dinner theaters as well as teaching children in NYC & PA at locations such as Treasure Trunk Theater & Valley Dance PA.

Lucy is a theatrical performer and teacher, originally from Seattle, WA. She graduated from Berklee College of Music last year, and has been lucky enough to be a part of some incredible new works and concerts since moving to New York. Previous credits include Goodbye Nyle (54 Below), Athanasia (Green Room 42), and Three’s A Crowd (Green Room 42). She also sings with New York choral Society as a soprano 2. Dennis Taylor is a Musical Theatre Performer & Film/Television actor based in New York City. His interests revolve around performing arts, fashion, party hosting, and nightlife promotion. Dennis is excited to be making his debut at the Caveat Theatre, especially to celebrate Pride Month!
Zoey Wilson is pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre at Marymount Manhattan College. They are also minoring in Costume Design and have a passion for cosplay. Recent Credits include Cats for Movers with Purple Light Productions, Tales from the Heart at Green Room 42, and The 14/48 Project, Vashon.
